WETLANDS
We have been studying in STELLAR this very important ecosystem. Our journey started at the Louisiana bayou. Here we saw very interesting creatures and organisms all working together. This wetland is being destroyed by natural and human cause. We are learning how we can help save this important area.
Our next stop are our wetlands here on Long Island. Covert School and Wilson School have been and will be videoconferencing with each other. The fifth grade is excited to visit Caumsett. We will have hands on experiences to enhance our understanding of our wetlands.

The year is 1776 the colonists are ready to rebel and fight for their independence. Many of the colonists are fed up with Britain's taxes. There are however a large number of conlonists who are still loyal to King George and do not want war. Our Stellar fifth graders are ready for a heated debate. |
