Dear Parents/Guardians,

 

All K-5 students in the Rockville Centre Public Schools are eligible to participate in the before and after school Project Great AM/PM Programs held at each elementary school.  AM Great begins at 7 AM until the start of the regular school day.  A small breakfast will be supplied each day as part of this program.  PM Great provides a safe, caring, fun environment where children's educational, social and recreational needs can be met.  PM Great operates from the close of the school day until 6:30 PM. An evening meal will be served at PM Great.

 

To prepare for the 2009-2010 school year, which begins on Tuesday, September 8, AM/PM Great registration forms and September's tuition are due in the Community Education Office, Room 109 at the High School, by August 17, 2009.  All registrations with tuition received after this date through September 8 will be eligible to attend AM/PM Great during the second week of school, beginning Monday, Sept. 14. For any registrations received after September 14 there will be a 2-day wait period before commencing attendance.  As the program continues to expand, it is important that we set firm registration deadlines to ensure the safety of all the children in the programs.

All the information and forms are available on the district's web page at www.RVCSchools.org  (follow the Project Great link). Forms can also be picked up at the elementary buildings, Community Education Office (Room 109 in the High School) and at the Administration building.  Since registration is limited, we suggest that you send in the registration along with September's tuition early.  There are a limited number of financial scholarships available.  Please call the Community Education office for more information.  We thank you in advance for your continued cooperation.
