The School Channel (TSC) is the official cable station of the Rockville Centre School District, and can be found on Cablevision channel 19 and Verizon FiOS channel 36.

TSC is dedicated to bringing student-produced programming to the Rockville Centre community.

All programs on TSC are produced by either the VIDEO CLUB or one of the VIDEO PRODUCTION classes (with the sole exception of the Board of Education meetings)

Superintendant Dr. William H. Johnson has a regular program on The School Channel.

His show, Exploring Our Schools, sheds light on the endless areas of interest in the district, interviewing teachers, faculty and students.

Exploring Our Schools is now aired each and every Monday and Wednesday at 9:00 AM, 12:00 noon, 3:00pm, 6:00pm and 9:00pm, with a different show each week.

BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETINGS  

The District now broadcasts all of the monthly board meetings.  The most recent meetings are aired each Thursday at 9:00 pm until the next Regular Board of Education meeting is available.  At that time, the latest meeting will replace the prior meeting on The School Channel.
